ABOUT RESTYLANE®

Dr. Theocharides offers Restylane® as a treatment for restoring lost volume that produces signs of aging on the face.

Like Juvederm, Restylane® is a hyaluronic acid facial filler which can effectively treat moderate to severe wrinkles and facial folds in the mid-face. Hyaluronic acid (HA) is naturally produced by the body, playing an important role in keeping the skin and other tissues hydrated and stimulating collagen production for that youthful appearance.
As we age, the production of HA decreases, causing the skin to appear drier and lose elasticity as collagen production is reduced. This leads to the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and other more noticeable signs of aging that can be addressed with the use of dermal fillers such as Restylane.
One of the most exciting features of Restylane® is the first and only dermal filler FDA-approved for lip enhancement. Restylane can restore fullness and symmetry to the lips for up to 6 months or longer.*

RESTYLANE KYSSE™

RESTYLANE LYFT™

If you are looking for fuller cheeks and smoother skin without surgery, Restylane Lyft may be for you. Restylane Lyft is an FDA approved filler for the use of adding volume and smoothing lines in the cheek region of the face. For patients who are experiencing a loss of fullness in the cheeks, or deepening of the nasolabial folds, Restylane Lyft offers natural looking and long lasting results. Patients typically enjoy results for up to 12 months.* Restylane Lyft is a non surgical and minimally invasive treatment for smile lines and sagging cheeks that can be completed in a single visit to our office.

TREATMENT WITH RESTYLANE: WHAT TO EXPECT

Dr. Theocharides will meet with you to discuss your personal concerns, health history and cosmetic goals to determine if treatment with Restylane is right for you. The number of sessions and amount of filler necessary will depend upon your desired result.

Each session lasts approximately 30 minutes, during which the area to be treated will be numbed with a topical anesthetic for your comfort during the injection. Typically, patients experience little to no discomfort during their treatment and can resume their daily routine immediately.

Mild redness, swelling or tenderness at the injection site is common and can last for a couple of days. Your immediate results will continue to improve in the coming weeks. Results can last for 6 months or more and be extended with periodic touch up filler.*
