WHAT CAUSES SPIDER VEINS

Researchers believe the causes may be genetics, environmental, or a combination of both. They are often seen or made worse by sun exposure, excess pressure, or hormonal changes. "In December 2020, Allure Plastic Surgery Center in Red Bank, NJ launched their 12 days of Beauty giveaway on Instagram. I must have been feeling lucky that day since I was selected to win a few free services including the O-Shot. At the time of entering the contest, I was unsure what the O-Shot was. After research, my interest was piqued when I learned there is a non-surgical way to increase sexual arousal and rejuvenate the vagina. Past Experience I have always struggled in my adult life being able to reach orgasm. In my last relationship of 2 years this was a serious topic of conversation as my boyfriend lost confidence in himself along with a bruised ego when he was not able to get me to climax. Reaching orgasm can feel elusive or even impossible for many women. Some can’t climax at all. This is normal but it’s worth determining whether there’s something getting in the way of having an orgasm. I have always been comfortable with my own body and was able to be more relaxed when I was alone with the help of vibrator devices. O-Shot Experience On the day of the appointment, I met with Dr. Thomas Theocharides and his assistant Nadine Russell for a 30-minute consultation. During the consultation Dr. Theocharides wanted to ensure I was a good candidate for the procedure, so we discussed the pros and cons of my sexual history and what I was hoping to achieve after the procedure. Dr. Theocharides made me feel very comfortable while discussing the most intimate things. He then began to explain the procedure which involves taking a vial of my blood, spun in a centrifuge to extract the plasma followed by numbing cream on my clitoris. After 20 mins of numbing, a large needle filled with my platelet-rich plasma (PRP) was then injected into the vagina and clitoral area to stimulate new cell growth. Nadine was in the room while this took place, and she was very supportive by handing me a stress ball and held my hand if I felt any discomfort. The entire procedure was quick and painless as there was just slight pressure. Once complete, I left the office ready to experiment. Testing out the O-Shot My first rule of business was to test out the O-Shot using a vibrator as in the past I was able to attain a slight orgasm this way. Within a couple days after the treatment, the O-Shot was able to enhance the sensation in my clitoris while allowing me to achieve an orgasm faster and more intensely. Nadine advised me that it may take up to 8 weeks for the growth factors to fully engage. My thoughts were, WOW this can get better!! It’s now been 6 months since the O-Shot and it’s still going strong, except this time I am able to test it out on a new relationship and let me just say its 100% worth it. On average, the O-Shot lasts about a year and I would highly recommend this treatment to any women who enjoy intimacy, want to increase lubrication, sexual desire and improve stimulation. Thank you, Dr. Thomas Theocharides & Nadine Russell, for such a pleasurable experience."- K.A / Office Visit / Sep 28, 2021

"I was researching botox for men online when I came across something called “scrotox”. It is apparently becoming an increasing cosmetic thing for men. I suffer from urological conditions and have been experiencing testicular/scrotal discomfort and pain for years and have been miserable. I was curious if doing this cosmetic procedure could also help me with relief of my testicular/scrotal pain. I called a few places and then found Dr. Theocharides and Nadine. I was nervous asking about this at first but then they were so easy to talk to and I felt completely comfortable. Dr. T agreed to do the scrotox on me for cosmetic reasons only. I went and had the scrotox done. It really didn’t take that long and I did not feel any pain at all with the injections. Dr. T was cool to talk with the entire time also and I was not nervous at all. He is actually a really cool and nice person and it was an enjoyable experience. About two weeks after the scrotox procedure I started noticing results and maybe by week 3 I noticed my scrotum was completely relaxed and the best part was that I did not feel my scrotal/testicular pain anymore either. It has been about 2 months now and I’m still pain free. As for appearance my scrotum used to be tight all the time and my testicles were up near my body. They almost never hung freely. Now my scrotum is completely relaxed and testicles hang much lower. So now I am pain free and also enjoying the cosmetic appearance of having low hanging testicles. It has also improved my sex life as well. I am completely satisfied. If you are curious about getting scrotox I highly recommend Dr. T and Nadine. They are a great team. I will definitely be going there for all of my facial botox and scrotox treatments from now on. You will be in good hands if you do too."- CN / Office Visit / Mar 12, 2021
SCLEROTHERAPY – WHAT TO EXPECT
Sclerotherapy is a simple in-office treatment for spider veins. Most people describe sclerotherapy as a very comfortable procedure with little or no pain. The treatment involves an injection of sclerotherapy agent directly into the unsightly veins. The injection irritates the veins, forcing them to collapse and fade from view. Most patients will need several treatment sessions to achieve the desired results. The number of sclerotherapy treatments required to achieve optimal cosmetic results will vary, and is dependent on the severity of each individual case. On average, most patients receive 2 to 6 treatment sessions that last 15 to 20 minutes each. While individual veins can clear after one treatment, multiple sclerotherapy sessions are often required to achieve visually appealing, permanent results.
OTHER VEIN TREATMENTS
Laser treatment may be used as a complimentary treatment to sclerotherapy. It can also be used in place of sclerotherapy in patients who have facial spider veins or other small cosmetic concerns. The first step is to schedule a complimentary consultation with Dr. Thomas Theocharides so he can evaluate your skin, listen to your concerns and recommend a treatment plan that is best for you.
