What is Permanent Makeup?
Permanent makeup, also known as micro pigmentation is the process of cosmetic tattooing. We use a special needling device to apply colored pigments into the dermis for a natural enhancement of the eyes, eyebrows and lips.
Is it really permanent?
For most people, the micro pigmentation will last about 5 to 7 years.* We consider it “permanent makeup” because the pigment is tattooed into the upper layers of the skin and cannot be rubbed off or removed with cleaners. Proper skin care is key to ensuring the longevity of your procedure and most people will benefit from periodic re-touches.
Does it hurt?
There may be discomfort associated with the micro pigmentation procedures. We will discuss the procedure and your pain threshold in advance. A variety of options are available when needed to manage discomfort including local and/or topical anesthetic.
Why Should You Consider Permanent Makeup
As women age, they loose fullness in the eyebrows and eyelashes. Permanent makeup can fill in these areas, resulting in a younger, more relaxed appearance. Arthritis, impaired vision and certain medical disorders can make applying makeup difficult or even impossible. Plus, permanent makeup saves time and money!
